How Do I Repair Windows 7 System Files

You can use the System File Checker tool to repair damaged organisation files.

Follow these steps:
Press the Windows + Ten keys and select Symbol of the System (Ambassador) or Windows PowerShell (Ambassador), in the window that will open, yous must type the commands in their corresponding gild:

• DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth
• DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
• DISM.exe /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup
• sfc /scannow

Each of these actions may take a few minutes, so it is important to execute one at a fourth dimension. At the terminate, you must restart the PC.

then i wrote this into the console and it's still running from the fourth dimension of your reply. Is something wrong?

You are right, it shouldn't take and so long, I recommend that you restart your PC and then repair Windows completely before yous should back up your files.
